Our mission is to generate alliances and resources to promote the work of the Fe y Alegría social movement to transform with solidarity, justice, and equity the reality of thousands of Venezuelans, through offering quality education.
We believe that it is possible to change lives through education in all its forms.
We want to be agents of change and put our hope into action.
Our commitment is based on three concepts of support:
Floralicia Anzola – Director
Social Communicator with a master’s degree in corporate communication from UCAB and a postgraduate degree in Community Management from the IE Business School/the University of Barcelona, Spain. She is an Ashoka Fellow (Andean Region) and member of the “Dar Learning” platform, entrepreneur, and speaker with more than 40 years of experience in audiovisual production in Venezuela and the United States. In her own words, she is committed to the cause of Fe y Alegría because “I believe in solidarity as a lever for social transformation and the Ubuntu philosophy ‘I am because you are.”
Nelson Ramírez – Director
Social communicator from UCAB with a postgraduate degree in International Business from Thunderbird Arizona. Nelson has more than 20 years of experience of working in the area of software and technology. In his personal time, he has made musical and audiovisual productions, has been nominated three times, and has won an Emmy Award from the SunCoast Chapter of the American Academy of Television Sciences. He has devoted himself to community work with the Venezuelan Business Club for 18 years.
Alberto Villegas – Secretary
Real estate entrepreneur and hotelier in his native Venezuela. He has participated in Educational Projects for UNESCO and in the training of the teaching staff of the Simón Bolívar University. He was a member of the Promoter Group that founded El Colegio Guayamuri and Director of FUNDEI on Isla de Margarita. He is convinced that a citizen is free only when he receives the education and values that allow him to act as a protagonist in his life.
Promotion. We generate information campaigns in the media and social networks.
Alliances. We organize fundraising projects and events to support the Venezuelan institution with resources and strengthen alliances with companies, other organizations, and volunteers.
