The Venezuelan church introduces the cause for the sainthood of Abraham and Patricia Reyes
The bishops of Venezuela, in their plenary meeting of 2021, with a unanimous voice, requested to begin the process of recognition of the holy lives of Abraham Reyes and his wife Patricia García de Reyes. Cardinal Baltazar Porras, at a press conference in the Parish of La Candelaria, announced sending the Nihil Obstat (nothing hinders) request to the Congregation of Saints in Rome to begin the process.
